One project from my "Background Design and Layout" Class.
The assignment was to paint an interior scene, of either a 'Laboratory', a 'temple', a 'space ship' or a 'tunnel'. As you can see I chose to paint a Laboratory. Done completely in photoshop with a Wacom tablet. ~~ Artist comments ~~ hehe... hehehehe. I REALLY like this peice, Ironically it's actually an image from a dream I had once. While trying to ponder what I should do for this assignment the image resurfaced with startling clarity in my head! Now mind you.... I added a few things as I saw fit, but it's not all that different from my original concept! XD |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. well... I'm not entirely certain what the pool was supposed to be filled with in my dream, but it was probably something akin to "Mako". but in my dream the room (which was slightly less ... pipey... and didn't actually have any of said pipes IN the pool.) housed some sort of... being. Humanoid, because a few moments after the pool was gazed at... a figure was floating in it... but unconcious...
any-ways, it was unusual, but it stuck in my head!
