Drizzt_Guenhwyvar Commission

This is a Commission-In-Progress peice for ~Jayetta. She wanted me to do a poster sized Fanart of Drizzt Do'Urden, and his Giant black panther companion, Guenhwyvar ...


As many of you MIGHT have guessed.... this particular peice has taken me a WHILE to do. I still need to color it, but the ink work was hours and hours. it ended up spanning nearly two full 8.5x11 pages, plus a third page for some major fixes I ended up needing to do.

and yes, for those of you NOT familiar with the stories by R.A. Salvatore, and more particularly, the cannon artwork gracing most of the covers. ... Drizzt does wear all that, lots of black leather armor, long green cape, and the white furr ruff .... thing....

as for Guenhwyvar, she is supposed to be a 600 lbs Astral Panther. I figured that would be about the right size...




anyways, I hope you all enjoy it! I'll be trying to color this when I CAN... but it's probably going to be JUST as time-consuming in the coloring as it was in the drawing and inking stages.
