Easily confused for a stone, or a prickly plant, this small heavy egg is naturally well disguised from predators, it's strange appearance caused the first to be found by a Geologist instead of a pet-seeker.

It was a dreadful morning on what would turn out to be the most wondrous of days. There was the beginning of a storm in the air. I had yet to get outside before it started pouring but left I did. I went to a spooky old mansion in a quest for an egg. Call me crazy but I went just because a letter told me to. It took me about 2 seconds to realize was alone and about 2 more for me to start running away but it was too late. The door had closed behind me and then lights started to come on in front of me and I followed them. I came to a big empty room with many different eggs on pedestals at various heights. Some pedestals were empty mainly the ones on the higher pedestals. A voice sounded throughout the room telling me that I could pick one and only one but I couldn't leave until I picked one. I picked the one on the lowest pedestal knowing all too well how it could/would be passed over and over again. Just like me. So I took it and when the doors opened I ran and didn't stop. I promise myself that I would raise the egg until it hatched and the creature inside could take care of itself and maybe still after that I would keep it.
